TenCate Advanced Composites to exhibit Paris Air Show 2015
8 June 2015This press release was issued as TenCate Advanced Composites, prior to our acquisition by Toray Industries and name change to Toray Advanced Composites in 2019.
TenCate Advanced Composites, a leading supplier of advanced thermoset and thermoplastic composite materials to the aerospace industry, will be exhibiting at the 2015 Paris International Air Show, Hall 2B Stand H91 from 15th – 19th June.
On display will be items that demonstrate the diversity of TenCate Advanced Composite materials within the aerospace industry, including fuel tank access panels for programmes such as the Airbus A350 XWB, produced by AviaComp, and an Airbus A400M ice protection panel produced by Fokker. Also on display will be a Cobham satcom system for the next generation wifi connectivity on the move, incorporating a radome manufactured using TenCate's bespoke low loss, low dialectric constant thermoset prepregs, produced in clean environments for maximum reliability.
TenCate will also be discussing their UK centre of excellence for thermoset chemistry systems as a result of the Langley Mill (Nottingham, UK) plant expansion. This increase in both capabilities and capacity will serve the EMEA region with specialist advanced composite materials for existing markets, including aerospace and high performance motorsport, whilst building on a strong heritage of TenCate AmberTool® tooling prepregs.
