Summary of the Role

The primary purpose of the Sales Account Manager is to generate sales revenue for the company by identifying new and cultivate existing business opportunities, grow and develop our best business opportunities. As the Sales Account Manager, you are an external representative of our organization; you must convey a sense of expertise in our products, services and capabilities, as you serve as a key educator to our accounts.

The position will primarily cover Eastern U.S., reporting to TCPC Director of Sales & Marketing and based preferably in Boston but other locations will be considered.

Qualifications and Proficiency

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong key account management and applications selling skills
  • Strong relationship builder
  • High interest in athletics with knowledge of the footwear industry a plus
  • 2-5 years of related experience in business to business outside sales
  • Hungry, humble and smart. A team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator
  • Strong organizational skills with effective time management skills
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft products and previous experience using sales database tracking programs
  • Customer Focused to exceed customer’s expectations while meeting internal guidelines and objectives
  • Persuasive with details and facts
  • High comfort level in diverse environments
  • Ability to work over multiple time zones
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time (North America and Asia)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •  An aggressive self-starter that can build long lasting relationships with customers and company team members.
  • Highly customer focused and driven to exceed the customer’s expectations while delivering results that meet internal guidelines and objectives.
  • Support the sale from concept to production.
  • Responsible for developing a Forecast and Sales Plan and providing regular updates, revision and modifications to the Plan.
  • Maintain updated knowledge and proficiency of product lines and pricing.
  • Contact and visit customers in the recreation market to review their projects and our products and services.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal departments, informing and updating regularly to guarantee that sales and client objectives are met.
  • Work closely with the Operations team.
  • Work closely with PMC Taiwan and China operations to assure customer’s activities are being coordinated appropriately.
  • Sales Deliverables: 1. Annual Account Plans by account, 2. Weekly Reports, 3. Annual Customer Meeting Tracker, 4. Monthly Forecast Updates, 5. Monthly Booking Opportunity Updates, 6. Quarterly Reading Assigned, 7. Quarterly Meeting participation, 8. Trip/Meeting report within 2 business days.
